The Rotary Lobe Pump is an efficient and reliable solution designed for fluid transfer applications. It utilizes the periodic volumetric changes created by two rotors within the pump cavity and the pump body, forming multiple fixed volume transport units. Mechanical energy inputted through the pump’s main shaft is transformed into pressure energy in the transported fluid. The pump’s flow rate is determined by the working chamber’s volume and its frequency of change per unit time, theoretically independent of the discharge pressure. Driven by the transmission shaft, the pump operates with two synchronously rotating rotors (with 2 to 8 lobes), which increase the volume at the inlet to create suction (vacuum), draw in material, and then decrease the volume at the outlet to discharge the material, achieving high vacuum levels and transport pressure.
